The show opens up with designers Noloyisa Lubelwana (South Africa) and Towa Mungandi (Zambia) who battle it out in a competition against the clock – hoping to impress the judges with their Fashion-In-The-Wilderness challenge. Towa wants to ‘show her vision to the world and help plus-size women feel great about themselves’. Noloyiso wants to ‘tell the story of her African identity and use her traditional wear designs to put Pan-African continent fashion on the world map’. Hosted by Nandi Madida, the Guest Judge for this first episode is Natasha Tlagae from Botswana, who will sit in with our resident Judge, Vanessa Leisegang, from The Space and two in-house mentors, Greg Wallis and Fezile Mdletshe.
