In this week’s episode of MADE IN AFRICA, Azola Tanzi (South Africa) and Abigail Demula (Malawi), race against each other in the Theme of the Week, Galloping Fashion, which brings in all the fun and fantasy of horseracing events. Azola works well under pressure and is able to develop more ideas as she works on the garment. She loves her own space and enjoys working alone. Abigail, though, has trouble with grading patterns and feels that she is not avant-garde enough for some competitions. However, she considers herself a quick learner and she is not tied to trends. Fashion for her is a statement; one that does not need to speak –and that is universal and powerful. Joining the resident panel comprising of the Host, Nandi Madida, Resident Judge, Vanessa Leisegang and in-house Mentors Greg Wallis and Fezile Mdletshe will be Ice Models boss and Event Organiser of the Vodacom Durban July, Tiffany Prior. It’s almost halfway through the season, and the winner of the show is anyone’s guess.
